The draw for the 2025/26 edition of the Europa League will schedule the eight initial games as teams throughout Europe try to succeed Tottenham as champions.
The Spurs beat Manchester United 1-0 in the 2024/25 final to win the competition for the second time, with the seven wins of Seville, turning the Spanish, the most successful team in the history of the Europa League.
Spanish clubs lead the way with 14 victories in the title, with England and Italy the following in 10 each like Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest aim to add another of the Premier League this season.

When is the Europa League raffle?
The raffle will take place on Thursday, August 29, a day after the play-off ties are at an end to decide the last teams to qualify.
The draw will begin at 12:00 BST / 07:00 ET / 04:00 PT.

The draw will be displayed live and free in UEFA.comas well as in UEFA YouTube channel and BBC Sport website and Iplayer.
TNT Sports will also transmit the raffle through Discovery+ and YouTube.
Europa League format
In a change from the previous group stage held until 2023/24, each team now plays eight games in the phase of the League, all against different opponents.
Four of those matches will be at home already four away, with the opponents determined according to four planting pots divided by the classifications.
The teams will play two opponents of each of those pots, one against a team of each boat at home and another. The results decide the general classification in a league.
The eight best parts in the table automatically qualify for the 16th round. The teams that end in ninth and 24 will compete in a two-legged removal phase play-off to reach the last 16.
The teams that end 25º or lower are out of Europe for the season.

The new phase of the League extends until the end of January, with the play-offs in February and the rest of the elimination stage before the final takes place between March and early May.
