The last beta update of WhatsApp for iOS offers users the ability to add and change between multiple accounts on a single device, according to . It comes more than a year later. With version 25.2.10.70 for iOS, users have an option by adding a second account to the application, Burner Reports: They can configure it as an independent primary account or “scan a QR code to link the new account as a companion.” The update is now available for Beta testers through the Apple TestFlight program.

In Android, executing two accounts simultaneously in WhatsApp requires a double SIM situation, since each account must have its own phone number.
