What are the implications of Trump’s sanctions against the CPI? | ICC

The International Criminal Court receives a support wave after its blow with the sanctions of the United States.

Donald Trump’s executive orders are becoming thick and fast. The last is sanctions to the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Trump states that the ICC abuses its power, taking “illegitimate and foundation” actions against the United States and its greatest Israel ally. He also states that his researchers are a threat to national security.

How will this affect the only court with the ability to prosecute genocide and war crimes? Is the very concept of an international order based on rules under threat?
