Manchester United’s chief coach Ruben Amorim, says he can see progress in his team during training, even if the results are not on his way this season.
The Red Devils are languishing in the lower half of the Premier League table, and could fall until the 16th place at the end of the weekend.
It has been a difficult transition period for Red Devils since Amorim took over Erik Ten Hag, with the Portuguese chief to find any success with his change in the system.
But he says that in training things they are improving, but they must translate that into game situations.
Speaking in his press conference prior to the game, he said: “It is more important in training, and what I am seeing in training is that they are improving and creating relationships. We are united and understanding the way we want to play.
“Even the sound of training is different: when we are doing an exercise, you feel the sound. People are talking, asking for the ball and giving instructions.
“You can feel it in the environment, we are changing. It is important to use that in the game.
“In some games that you think they are more difficult, you feel that we can play and create situations and that is a good thing.
“At this time, when you see the games, you feel that there are more problems than solutions. We are capable, but we have to be consistent. “
“We have to use that in the game” 🔥

Amorim has also offered a positive update on players returning from an injury.
Despite losing Lisandro Martínez, Kobbie Mainoo and Amad Diallo for the rest of the season, there are some key names available for the trip to Everton.
He added: “This week is better than last week because we did not lose players. Christian (Eriksen), Manuel (Ugarte) and Lenny (Yoro) return.
“Amad is a long time, Mason (Mount) and Luke (Shaw) continue to recover, but I don’t have a date (for his return). Toby (Collyer) is the closest, but not now. We have to adapt.
“Altay (Bayindir) and Tom are recovering. Again, we don’t have an appointment. “
Early in the day, United subjected to the side of LaLiga Real Sociedad in the Europa League the last 16.
Amorim was interrogated in the raffle, but did not want to concentrate on a game that is still a few weeks.
He said: “I just want to win against Everton. We are in a difficult situation in the Premier League and we have many problems to solve in each game.
“If I see our performances and concentrate on the true society or think about trophies at the time, it is not the right way to do my job. I just want to win against Everton. “
