The MGA Entertainment CEO, Isaac Larian, says that Donald Trump is a “great” president and expresses some concerns about tariffs about “the countdown of Claman”.
President Donald Trump plans to announce 25% tariffs on all imports of aluminum and steel to the United States earlier this week.
Trump is expected to tell journalists on Air Force One about their plans on Sunday afternoon, announces the new tariffs on steel and aluminum imports on Monday. Trump also plans to announce “reciprocal tariffs”, or tariffs aimed at countries that impose duties to US exports, on Tuesday or Wednesday.
“Very simply, if they charge us, we charge them,” Trump told reporters. “If they are charging us 130% and we are not charging them, it will not continue on their way.”
“Every country will be reciprocal,” he added.

The newest tariffs echo the steel rates of 25% and 10% of aluminum rates that its first administration imposed in 2018. At that time, the United States was the largest importer of steel, while China was the largest exporter of steel
Similarly, the United States remains one of the largest aluminum importers, along with Germany and China.
On February 1, Trump presented the International Law on Emergency Economic Powers (IEEPA), which include 25% rates in imports from Canada and Mexico and a 10% rate on China imports. Tariffs have received mixed reactions from consumers and the negative rejection of foreign leaders, including Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Mexican president Claudia Sheinbaum.

“We need to protect Americans, and it is my duty as president to guarantee everyone’s safety,” Trump wrote in a real social position on February 1. “I made a promise in my campaign to stop the avalanche of illegal foreigners and the drugs to pour through our borders, and the Americans voted overwhelmingly in favor.”
In White House Information sheet, the authorities said that IEEPA’s purpose was to help stop the “illegal immigration and prevent poisonous fentanil and other drugs from flowing to our country.” Last week, the CEO of the largest steel producer in the United States supported the IEEPA tariffs.
In a letter obtained by Fox News Digital, the president of Nucor Corp, President and CEO Leon J. Topalian wrote that “applauds the first steps taken by President Trump on his United States commercial agenda.”
