Trump says that tariff cards for smaller countries will arrive soon; Rates probably exceeding 10%

The president of the United States, Donald Trump, said on Tuesday that the letters that notify the smallest countries of their US rates rates will go out soon, and added that their administration would probably establish a rate of “a little more than 10%” for those countries.

Trump, speaking with journalists after his arrival of an event in Pittsburgh, said he was very happy with “simple agreements” already announced that he established general rates for more than 20 countries and would address tariffs for the remaining countries soon.

“We will launch a letter soon, talking about many countries that are much smaller,” he said. “We will probably establish a tariff for everyone … probably a little more than 10%.”
