President Donald Trump announced that his administration will impose a 50% tariff on imported copper, marking a new eccalization in his broader tax policy.
President Trump mocked apparently important advertisements related to commercial negotiations with at least seven countries on Tuesday night.
“We will launch a minimum of 7 countries that have to do with trade, tomorrow morning, with an additional number of countries released in the afternoon,” Trump wrote in a publication about his Social truth account. “Thank you for your attention on this matter!”
Trump promises a 50% rate on copper imports

The earliest Tuesday, Trump announced that the United States will impose a 50% tariff to imported copper, marking an escalation in its wider tax policy aimed at reformulating the critical industries of the United States.

Trump made the announcement during a cabinet meeting in front of the press on Tuesday, where he linked the move to his first United States policy to rebuild industrial supply chains and force companies to obtain materials nationwide.

Inumining the tomato rate that causes commercial tensions
The social publication of Truth also follows Trump’s recent announcement that if 14 countries do not reach a commercial agreement with the USA. At the beginning of next month, they will return to the levels established in April.

While most of the new rates announced on Monday closely reflect the rates proposed by President Donald Trump in April, Laos and Myanmar will face the highest tax at 40%.
The assets of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina will face slightly lower rates of 35% and 30%, respectively. And the remaining countries: Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, South Korea and Tunisia will see a 25%tariff increase.

In April, Trump announced a “reciprocal” rates policy under which US tariffs on imported goods from foreign countries would be based on the size of the United States bilateral commercial deficit with those countries.
