The president of the United States, Donald Trump, said on Sunday that he is still committed to the United States buying and possesses Gaza, but that he can allow countries of the Middle East to rebuild sections of the area devastated by the Israel-Famas War.
Trump made the comment when talking to journalists aboard Air Force One on his way to New Orleans for the Super Bowl.
“I am committed to buying and owning Gaza,” Trump said. “As for us by rebuilding it, we can give it to other states in the Middle East to build sections of it, other people can do so, through our auspices. But we are committed to having it, taking it and that Hamas does not go back.”
“There is nothing to return to. The place is a demolition site. The rest will be demolished. Everything is demolished,” he said.
