Oleksandr Usyk faces Tyson Fury in their rematch tonight at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event starts at 11:00am ET/5pm UK time live on DAZN PPV, but the main event between unified heavyweight champion Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) and Fury will be at approximately 6 :00 pm ET.
Will Fury be able to conquer Usyk in the rematch?
A burly 281-pound Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) will look to avenge his loss to Usyk last May. This could be interesting if it comes to the cards or if Fury gets hurt like last time. Hopefully, there won’t be controversy like the previous fight between them.
11:00 am ET: Today’s main card LIVE on DAZN PPV
Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury 2
Moses Itauma vs Demsey McKean – co-feature
Serhii Bohachuk vs. ismael davis
Johnny Fisher vs. David Allen
Peter McGrail vs. Rhys Edwards
Isaac Lowe vs. Lee McGregor
Dylan Colin (vs. Daniel Lapin)
Edgar Ramirez vs. Andriy Novytskyi
In the co-main event, Queensberry-touted prospect and heavyweight contender Moses Itauma (10-0, 8 KOs) will face Demsey McKean (22-1, 14 KOs). It’s a fight that has less significance than the fight between Serhii Bohachuk and Ishmael Davis, which is an elimination for the WBC junior middleweight title. That’s a much better fight than the Itauma-McKean clash.
Itauma, 19, is being quickly moved to put him in position to take over after Fury and Usyk retire. He doesn’t seem even remotely prepared to fight for a world title or replace the best. It’s understandable why Itauma’s promoters put him in the co-feature to give him some visibility because he’s invisible outside of the UK.
