It’s been almost a decade since we’ve had a Big Mummy movie, and that’s when Universal attempted to relaunch their horror monsters through the Dark Universe and their unique entry, the mummy. Since then, the studio focused on other monsters such as Dracula and men of the invisible and wolf varieties.
