Liverpool is ready to complete the signing of the eaves of Germany, Florian Wirtz, after the Premier League champions, according to the reports, reached an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen in an agreement worth £ 116 million, including the accessories.
The measure will make Liverpool break the British transfer record to acquire Wirtz, who had previously been linked to Manchester City and Bayern Munich.
Wirtz has exceeded 30 goals in each of the last two seasons. He accumulated 37 in 2023-24 when Leverkusen won twice Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal and reached the final of the Europa League, where the defeat against Atalanta marked his only loss of the season.
Although Leverkusen did not win an important trophy in 2024-25, Wirtz was involved in 30 goals in another star season. Even so, the rate size means that there is considerable pressure on your shoulders to deliver in Anfield.
But it is far from being the first player to join a Premier League club for a rate of at least £ 100 million.
In fact, another four have done it, although they have enjoyed different levels of success.

The 24-year-old registered 22 goals in 2024-25 when Chelsea qualified for the Champions League and won the Conference League.

Having claimed the glory of the Conference League in its last season with the Hammers, Rice has not yet won a trophy with Arsenal.

The Ecuadorian was outstanding in 2022-23 for the seagulls, but initially had trouble causing an impression upon arrival at Stamford Bridge.
That changed in 2024-25, with crucial caicedo for the success of the blues with their combative game in the center of the field.
Idrissa Gueye (181) was the only midfielder in the Premier League with a greater combined total of tacle and interceptions that Caicedo (163).
Caicedo also did an excellent work of progress, registering 235 passes to the final third, the majority of any midfielder in the division.
Even only 22, the signs are good that Chelsea’s decision to spend such a large sum in Caicedo will claim.
