The biggest conclusions of the Super Bowl Lix

NFL’s 2024-25 season is officially in books, and Philadelphia Eagles are their Super Bowl champions.

Philly dominated the entire game, and the final score was not indicative of how unequal this contest was. After all, KC did not get on the board until after 34-0 were left behind.

With the great game now in our rearview mirror, let’s take a look at some of the most important conclusions of the Super Bowl Lix.

The Eagles were the best NFL team this year

Several franchises had a case to be the best NFL team. The Detroit Lions had their best season in the history of the franchise with a 15-3 record, but they had a lower performance in the playoffs and lost to Washington’s commanders despite having an advantage in the field of origin. The Kansas City Chiefs returned to their third consecutive Super Bowl, but people will only remember the beating they suffered in the great game. The Buffalo Bills arrived at the AFC championship, and Campo Mariscal Josh Allen won MVP, but losing to the Chiefs in the postseason will torment Bills Mafia for years.

In truth, the best team in the National Soccer League this year was the Super Bowl champion, Philadelphia Eagles. They were one of the four best squadrons in the league during the regular season, and they were easily the best team in the playoffs. Therefore, Philadelphia must be seen as the best undisputed team of the NFL this season.

Sometimes, the best team does not win the Super Bowl, but that was not the case here. With an 18-3 record, the Eagles had the greatest amount of victories of any team in the league this season. Philly also had an offensive in the top ten (seventh in points per game) and a defense of the top ten (second in points per allowed game). These units were even better in the playoffs (first on punctuation offensive, third in scoring defense).

The Eagles are the best NFL team, and should be considered favorites to win the Super Bowl LX next year in Santa Clara, California.

This season was a failure for chiefs

Normally, a record of 17-2 and an appearance in the Super Bowl would be considered a successful season for another 31 NFL teams. But that is not true for Kansas City bosses.

After winning the Super Bowl consecutive, just getting to the great game is no longer good enough. The players, coaches and fans expected KC to be the first team to win three consecutive Lombardi trophies. However, that dream is now dead, and there is the possibility that we never see that the chiefs run again like this.

Do not be misunderstood, I am sure that KC and Patrick Mahomes will return to the Super Bowl. I don’t think three consecutive victories in the Super Bowl ever join. Demons, I don’t know if I will ever see it in my life.

I am not discrediting the Chiefs dynasty. They have still won three Super Bowls in the last six years, one of the best races we have seen in the National Soccer League. However, with that in mind, the only way in which this season would look like a success was if KC became the first team to win three consecutive Lombardi trophies. Not reaching those expectations, I think this season was a failure for chiefs.

Kansas City had a good team this year, but they never looked great. Despite their record, the Chiefs were only good, not great, defensive (room in annotations) and only a team of the road offensively (15º in annotations). If they had put striking numbers and seemed the best offensive or defense in the NFL throughout the season, then this loss would be a bit tastier. But taking into account that this was a statistically unsatisfactory year, and three did not do it, I think this is a failed season for KC.

Put some respect in the name of Jalen Hurts

Saquon Barkley has just had the best season of a corridor

We all knew that Saquon Barkley was immensely talented. However, their skills were being wasted by New York giants. The game was not even a burst of epic proportions. The 18 -point victory is tied for the 16th largest margin of Victoria in a Super Bowl. If KC has not scored those late TDs, it would have been the fifth largest points differential in the history of the Super Bowl.

The commercials were not great. Between the burst, the part -time show and the dull commercials, Super Bowl Lix was one of the worst Super Bowls that we have had in recent years.
