The author of ‘The Satanic Versos’, Rushdie, says that stabbing left him in a ‘Lake of Blood’

The winning author of the Booker Prize, Salman Rushdie, described to be left in a “blood lake” after a frantic knife attack that left the blind novelist in his right eye. Rushdie’s comments arrived during the second day of the trial of his alleged assailant, Hadi Mata, 23 years old.
