The president of the United States has suggested that Egypt and Jordan should take the Palestinians of Gaza.
The foreign ministers from five Arab countries have issued a joint statement that rejected the forced displacement of the Palestinians of their lands.
The statement, published on Saturday, presented a unified position against the call of the president of the United States, Donald Trump, to Egypt and Jordan to take Palestinians from Gaza.

The meeting occurred after Trump said last week that Egypt and Jordan should go to the Palestinians of Gaza, which he called a “demolition site” after 15 months of Israeli bombing that made most of his 2.3 million homeless people.
Egypt and Jordan, the US key allies in the region, have repeatedly rejected Trump’s proposal to “clean” Gaza. Jordan is home to several million Palestinians, while tens of thousands live in Egypt.
On Wednesday, the president of Egypt, Abdel Fattaah El-Sisi, also rejected Trump’s idea and said the Egyptians would go out to the streets to express their disapproval.
“The displacement of the Palestinian people of their land is an injustice in which we cannot participate,” he added.
However, on Thursday, Trump reiterated the idea, saying: “We do a lot for them and they will”, in apparent reference to the abundant American help, including military assistance, to Egypt and Jordan.
Analysts have said that Trump’s proposal would be equivalent to ethnic cleaning.
Yousef Munayyer, head of the Palestine/Israel program at the Arab Center in Washington DC, told Al Jazeera earlier this week that Trump’s “scandalous” statement should be convicted of violating all basic rules and rights.
“Trump says all kinds of things,” said Munayyer, explaining that the statement of the president of the United States must be taken with a touch of skepticism.
“Sometimes they are things that it means. Sometimes they are things that he does not mean. Sometimes they are things he heard in a conversation that had five minutes ago. Sometimes they are things that he believes he heard but misunderstood. “
