A Pro-Trump group is changing its name after the suggestion of President Donald Trump that the United States “seized” by Gaza. The group previously known as US Arabs for Trump, is now going with the name of American Arabs for peace.
“We believe that their ideas, as well intentionally as they could, rubbed many people in the wrong way,” Bishra Bahbah, the founder of the organization previously known as US Arabs for Trump, He told Reuters. “We oppose any transfer of Palestinians, either voluntarily or involuntarily, outside its homeland.”
On Tuesday, during a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump presented the idea that the United States took control of the Gaza Strip.

“The United States will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will also do a job with him,” Trump said during the joint press conference on Tuesday night. “We possess it and will be responsible for dismantling all dangerous and unexplored bombs and other weapons on the site.”
The president emphasized the need to “do something different” in Gaza, where Hamas and Israel have fought for almost 16 months.
“If you return, it will end in the same way that it has done for 100 years,” Trump warned during the press conference.
Trump’s plan to build “economic development” in the Gaza strip devastated by the war has encountered mixed reactions. The group now known as American Arabs for peace is far from being alone in its rejection of the idea. Senator Rand Paul, Republican of Ky., Hatalized Trump’s proposal, saying he did not put “United States first.”
Hamas, whose massacre on October 7 began the last war with Israel, described Trump’s proposal in a “recipe to create chaos.” The terrorist group that has controlled Gaza since 2006, a year after Israel resigned from the land strip and expelled its citizens from the area.
“What President Trump declared about his intention to move to the residents of the Gaza Strip outside and the control of the United States on the strip by force is a crime against humanity,” said a senior Hamas official to Fox News on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Netanyahu praised Trump’s idea during an “Hannity” appearance on Wednesday.
“I think he will create a different future for everyone,” Netanyahu Prime Minister said “Hannity.”
“The real idea of allowing the Gazans to leave, leave. I mean, what’s wrong with that?” Netanyahu asked. “They can leave. Then they can return. They can relocate and return, but you have to rebuild Gaza. If you want to rebuild Gaza, you can’t have, this is the first good idea I have heard.”
After almost 16 months of war, Hamas and Israel are participating in a high -fire agreement, which has already seen the release of several hostages, including an American citizen. In the first phase of the agreement, 33 hostages will be launched. The details of the second phase have not been made public.
