Syria forms panel to investigate civil attacks in Sweida’s violence

The new authorities of Syria have established a committee to investigate attacks against civilians during recent sectarian clashes in the south, authorities said on Thursday. The violence of July in the province of Sweida killed hundreds, displaced tens of thousands and risked to destabilize the fragile transition from the country’s postwar period.
