Like most old married people, he didn’t quite know what to think. Bridgerton. How could a show about fancy dress costumes and finery interest a middle-aged kid who grew up watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Star Trek? In the end, however, my wife convinced me to see it and I was delighted with a show that was sexy, elegant and far Naughtier than I could have ever imagined. To discover the secretly dirty show that could add a little spice to your marriage, all you have to do is stream. Bridgerton on Netflix.
the premise of Bridgerton is that we follow the titular Bridgerton family as they navigate high society and try to find suitable romantic partners. Beyond the romance, however, what has all these nobles on edge is the appearance of Lady Whistledown, a mysterious woman known only through the gossip-filled newsletters she secretly circulates. But the identity of this reclusive writer is just one of many mysteries that threaten to unravel this fabulous family and destroy everything that entire generations have built.

Like many men, he didn’t know what to do. Bridgerton first of all; From the outside, this period piece about socialites finding love didn’t seem to be my cup of tea. Once my wife convinced me to watch, I realized that the frilly dresses and obsession with characters marrying into a good family were hiding a simple fact. Bridgerton is about sexand those scenes of characters staring at each other across a crowded room or worrying about how perfect each other’s immaculate outfits are are just foreplay that builds to the show’s infamous steamy scenes.
Those sexy scenes are worth it. I’d say it’s worth it for any guy to take a look. Bridgerton just for sexual attractiveness.

If you have a wife or girlfriend who already likes this show, watching it (together or alone) is the easiest way to score some major relationship points. This is because you’re doing two things at once: you’re showing interest in what she cares about while gaining invaluable information about what revs her romantic engines.
That information could save a difficult relationship or it could take a strong union to the next level. All you have to do is press play and watch a show that’s about pretty people in clean clothes getting ready to get dirty with each other. As a bonus, you’ll finally recognize references when everyone in your life (it’s not just me, right?) keeps talking about them. Bridgerton.
If your partner wants to recreate some of the raciest scenes with you after the credits roll, you can thank me later.

Marriage benefits aside, Bridgerton It’s a fantastic series. As with superstar showrunner Shonda Rhimes’ other efforts, the real strength is her cast. This includes Jonathan Bailey (best known for Wicked) as a brooding young man who became head of the Bridgerton family after his father’s death. The cast also includes Regé-Jean Page (best known outside of this show for Roots and Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves) as a passionate suitor for a naïve Bridgerton daughter played by Phoebe Dynevor (also best known for Fair play).
Honestly, I could praise the Bridgerton Cast All Day: Julie Andrews is pitch-perfect as Lady Whistledown’s voice, a narrative conceit meant to hide who this gossipy girl really is. Claudia Jessie is excellent as the smartest of the Bridgerton daughters, while Nicola Coughlan is captivating as the overlooked daughter of a rival family. And Golda Rosheuvel is royalty personified as Queen Charlotte, the regal personality who holds all of high society together.

On Rotten Tomatoes, critics decided that Bridgerton It was the true beauty of the dance. The series has an 84 percent rating, with critics praising the show for a stellar cast that makes this period drama so beautiful and noteworthy. They also praised the excellent combination of soap opera drama and the sleek design that makes it truly different from anything else on streaming.

Will you agree that Bridgerton is secretly the naughtiest show on TV, or would you rather put down the remote and read a romantic book? You won’t know until you see this award-winning cultural phenomenon for yourself on Netflix.
