Spacex’s huge spacecraft rocket is scheduled to take off the company’s Texas launch site as soon as tonight for its tenth flight. The launch window opens at 7:30 pm et (6:30 pm CT). As always, the flight test will be broadcast live in the Website and X, with a web transmission that starts 30 minutes before launch. However, the weather looks doubtful for the launch, so not surprise if it is postponed; Spacex said on Saturday that conditions looked only 45 percent favorable. According The company has support opportunities on August 25 and 26.
Flight 10 follows a series of failures this year during Spacex and Test flights. And in June, a spaceship vehicle exploded on the ground during preparations for static fire test of its six Raptor engines. If everything agrees with Plan for Flight 10, Starship will implement eight fictional Starlink satellites and perform “several experiments focused on allowing Starship’s upper stage to return to the launch site.” However, it will not really return to the launch site this time. The test is expected to last a little more than an hour and end with a splash in the Indian Ocean.
