Sweden assured first place in Group C in Euro 2025 female after an impressive 4-1 victory over Germany, which ended in second place.
Germany opened the early score through the Jue brand in minute 7, but Sweden responded almost immediately. Stina Blackstenius matched only five minutes later, and Smilla Holmberg gave Sweden the advantage in the 25th minute.
A critical turning point arrived in the 31st minute when the German defender Carlotta Wamser was expelled for a handball in the line, winning a penalty of Sweden. Fridolina Rolfo became the place, extending the advantage of Sweden to 3–1.
The Swedes found their room when Lina Hurtig played in 10 minutes of time to complete a convincing victory.

Denmark withdrew one to establish a nervous ending when Signe Bruun got up higher, but Poland endured to ensure an impressive victory, despite retiring from the competition.
The result ends a historic tournament for Poland, which ends third in group C behind Sweden and Germany. Denmark, meanwhile, leaves the competition without a point of its three games.
