Manchester United scored two late goals to beat rivals Manchester City at the Etihad.
It was another miserable night for the Premier League champions, who took the lead in the first half.
Josko Gvardiol rose highest to finish off Kevin De Bruyne’s deflected cross in what had been a terrible game up to that point.
The quality didn’t improve much, but United made sure it was entertaining in the end.
Amad Diallo took advantage of a loose pass from Matheus Nunes to goalkeeper Ederson, and the Portuguese international caught it as he tried to make up for his mistake.
Bruno Fernandes stepped forward to calmly convert the resulting penalty and moments later everything was chaos.
Diallo was once again in the thick of the action, flicking the ball over Ederson and sliding home to give United a surprising three points.

City dominated the early stages of the game and enjoyed most of the possession.
The breakthrough came in the 36th minute, when Gvardiol rose highest to head in a deflected cross from De Bruyne.
It was a deserved advantage for City, who had been the most threatening team in a difficult first half.
Despite City’s dominance, neither team created many clear-cut chances and United failed to get a shot on target before the break.
The second half began with City maintaining control of the game, but they were unable to capitalize on their dominance.
Erling Haaland came close, but the visitors remained in the contest, buoyed by City’s inability to put the game away.
As time wore on, United got into the game and started asking questions of the City defence.

The turning point came in the 86th minute, when a critical error by Nunes gave United a lifeline.
Nunes’ backpass allowed Amad to attack, and although his initial touch took him wide, the midfielder’s recovery tackle brought down the United winger.
Referee Michael Oliver did not hesitate to award the penalty. Captain Fernandes stepped forward and calmly slotted the ball into the bottom corner, leveling the score at 1-1.
With momentum firmly on their side, United sensed the opportunity for an improbable victory.
Just four minutes later, in injury time, Lisandro Martínez delivered a high and precise pass over the City defence.
Amad showed great composure to pass the ball to Ederson before putting it into the net despite pressure from Gvardiol.
The away fans erupted as United took a shock 2-1 lead.
The victory lifts United’s spirits and provides a significant boost to Ruben Amorim’s side as they look to bounce back from a patchy run.
City, meanwhile, will rue missed opportunities and remain with just one win in 11.
