Real estate experts warn about New York’s exodus if Mamdani wins the mayor’s breed

“There would be no building,” Dolly Lenz told Fox Business in ‘The Claman Countdown’ on Tuesday. “We are receiving so many calls … of people who say: ‘Look, if (mamdani) inside, I’m out.’

Mamdani’s campaign has focused on making one of the most expensive places in the country to live more affordable for residents. Its proposals require freezing of several years and a massive investment in public homes.

However, the Lenzes said that the proposed rental freezing could stop the real estate market of New York City, and pointed out that they already have clients prepared to leave the city in preparation for the real estate climate under Mamdani.

“They go to Greenwich, to New Jersey, Florida,” Dolly Lenz told Fox Business. “They won’t be here.”

The most popular affordable destinations to which people move remain lower tax states such as Texas and Florida. Many Californians also go to Las Vegas, Nevada, according to the two experts.

“Given all this news from Mamdani, many people are certainly in that,” said Jenny Lenz.

Mamdani, who defeated former New York governor Andrew Cuomo in the Democratic primaries, has 81% of Victoria’s possibilities this November, according to interactive corridors data reviewed Wednesday.

“He is winning a lot,” said Jenny Lenz.

During the last week, Mamdani’s chances have remained above 75% with their main challengers fighting for a traction. Cuomo has The next best probabilities with a 20% chance of winning the mayor’s career, according to the interactive market of runners.

Zohran Mamdani did not immediately respond to the request for comments from Fox Business.
