While the Premier League will not be going back for a few more days with the FA Cup in the center of the stage this weekend, there was a lot of the league action in Europe on Saturday.
The Bayern Munich found himself under pressure to respond in a bidirectional battle for the Bundesliga title, while Paris Saint-Germain had the opportunity to take a great step towards another Ligue Crown 1.
Juventus, meanwhile, began the era of Igor Tudor against Genoa.

Saint-Etienne 1-6 Paris Saint-Germain
The PSG is on the edge of the title of Ligue 1 after hitting Saint-Etienne, although initially it seemed that they could stumble with Stade Geoffroy-Guichard.
Lucas Stassin’s header put the hosts ahead in the ninth minute, and it was not until the penalty of 43 minutes of Goncalo Ramos that PSG was able to level.
Khvicha Kvarathskhelia gave PSG the leadership five minutes in the second half and a double of Doue’s desire, along with goals from Joao Neves and Ibrahim Mbaye, turned the game into a defeat.

Juventus 1-0 Genoa
The first Tudor game in charge of Juventus after the departure of Thiago Motta saw the Bianconeri increase their football hopes of the Champions League.
Kenan Yildiz’s excellent individual effort, with his excellent race crowned by an end almost on the network, showed enough for Juve to maintain pressure on Bologna in the fight for the first four.
Juve is a point behind the Bologna of the Fourth Licro, which beat Venezia 1-0.
Rome is also in the search for the Champions League, and its 1-0 victory in Lecce said that Claudio Ranieri’s men remain only three points to drift from Juve and four less than Bologna.

Bavaria Munich 3-2 St. Pauli
The Bayern restored its six -point advantage at the top of the Bundesliga with the victory over St. Pauli threatened by the descent, although it was not entirely direct.
Bayer Leverkusen champions had reduced the three-point gap by beating Bochum 3-1 on Friday.
But Harry Kane gave Bayern a 17 -minute advantage when Vincent Kompany’s men sought to answer, sweeping the Michael Olise cross at home.
Elias Saad was leveled 10 minutes later for visitors fighting, but a double of the second half of Leroy Sane, with Olise providing a second assistance before Kane turned the supplier with a low cross, the points effectively said.
Lars Ritzka scored a late comfort for St. Pauli in the detention time, but Bayern now has the opportunity to clarify nine points when they visit Augsburg next Friday.

Espanyol 1-1 Atlético de Madrid
The hopes of the Atlético de Madrid Laliga title suffered another setback when a penalty in the second half saw them slide in Espanyol.
The impressive length volley of César Azpilicueta, his first goal since April 2022, put Atlético in the 38th minute.
But Diego Simeone’s men failed to take advantage of that advantage, and were linked to 19 minutes from the end of normal time.
