The Prizepicks sports betting company is expanding its scope, since it has secured game licenses both in Puerto Rico and Maine.
The daily fantasy sports operator describes the new additions such as “marking an important milestone” in its continuous growth. It also becomes the first daily fantasy sports operator to obtain a game license in Puerto Rico.
While those in Maine will be able to access the platform immediately, those on the island of the Caribbean will have to wait a few more months to start.
Due to obtaining these licenses, Prizepicks will be operational with its fantasy competitions in 47 jurisdictions in the United States.
Prizepicks becomes the first daily fantasy sports license operator in Puerto Rico
“We thank the Puerto Rico Games Commission and the Maine Game Control Unit for its association and support throughout the license process,” said Adam Packer, senior vice president of legal and compliance with PRIZATINA.
“We have seen a tremendous commitment to Arena throughout the country, and we are sure that the impulse will be taken to these new jurisdictions.”
Arena is the company’s pick’em style game. While this news is substantial, Prizepicks has had a first half of the busy year.
Recently, the official fantasy sports partner of the Los Angeles Dodgers was appointed. The association presents several digital activations and in the stadium at the Dodger Stadium. While the real terms have not been revealed, the agreement is described as a several years association.
“Associating with Dodgers is an incredible opportunity to align with one of the most respected organizations in sports,” said Mike Quigley, Prizepicks Marketing Director.
“As Dodgers pursue another championship title, we are eager to offer unique moments that take fans even closer to action.”
In May, Prizepicks was appointed as the official fantasy partner of the Houston stars. The previous month, the company shared the news on an agreement with the San Francisco giants. Other ads have been made about the parents of San Diego and the Braves of Atlanta.
