Earlier this week, Samsung announced an update to its flagship smartphone lineup at its Unpacked event, introducing consumers to the new Galaxy S25 Ultra, S25+, and S25. Pre-orders are now available on Samsung’s website and the tech company is offering a generous trade-in deal. Customers can get up to $900 when they trade in their old phone, knocking a considerable percentage off the initial price.

The premium Galaxy S25 Ultra is available in several options with different storage capacities. Samsung ditched the previous generation’s 128GB model and has now split the phone into a 256GB option ($1,300), a 512GB option ($1,420), and a full 1TB option. However, at this time Samsung has reduced the price of the 512 GB model and the 1 TB model to the price of the previous version, essentially offering customers a free storage upgrade.
Plus, you’ll receive between $60 and $100 in Samsung credit that you can then put towards accessories like Galaxy Buds or Galaxy Watches, which are also up to 40% off when you pre-order the new phone. So yes, they are free discounts and credits.
Now combine all those savings with the trade-in of your old phone, which can give you up to $900 towards the new Samsung S25 Ultra. That brings the price down to just $300 and up to $100 for a Samsung accessory.

Similar offers are being made on the Galaxy S25+ and S25 series of Samsung smartphones.
The S25+ is available with 256GB or 512GB storage options, for $1,000 and $1,120 respectively, the latter currently discounted to just $1,020. So you’ll only pay $20 more to double your storage, although the 256GB version comes with a $100 credit that can go toward a selection of Samsung accessories.
The S25 has options for 128GB or 256GB, priced at $800 and $860 respectively, although the 256GB is $50 off, making it just $10 more than the 128GB version. Like the S25+, this smaller storage option comes with a Samsung credit ($50), while the 256GB model does not.
The Galaxy S25+ and S25 each have a lucrative trade-in bonus when you trade in your old phone. You can save up to $700 when you trade in your old phone for the S25+ or up to $500 when you trade in for the S25.
