Tottenham finished his streak of four consecutive losses in the Premier League with a hard 2-0 victory over Brentford in the Gtech Community Stadium.
The first half saw the commercial opportunities on both sides, but it was Tottenham who broke the point of the dead in the 29th minute.
The flagship corner of Heung-min’s son from the left caused chaos in Brentford’s box, and Vitaly Janelt unadverted converted the ball into his own network.
Despite creating many opportunities in the first half, Brentford could not find great advance. Tottenham, with less threat to the goal, entered the rest with leadership.
Brentford came out strong in the second half, pressing for a draw. In the 53rd minute, Keane Lewis-Potter crossed Yoane Wissa, but Brentford’s striker sent his effort by the bar from six yards.
Moments later, the goalkeeper of Tottenham, Antonin Kinsky, made a crucial salvation of Christian Norgaard’s first shot, keeping visitors in front.

When the hosts threw men in search of a late goal, Tottenham capitalized the counterattack.
In the 87th minute, Captain Son passed a ball through Pape Sarr, who ended coldly through the legs of Brentford’s goalkeeper, Valdimarsson, to seal the victory.
The victory sees Tottenham to move within two points of Manchester United, who suffered a defeat against Crystal Palace.
For the side of Ange Postecoglou, this result provides a very necessary impulse before its second -leg clash of the Carabao Cup against Liverpool in the middle of the week.
Brentford, despite his intention to attack and numerous opportunities, was frustrated by the lack of avant -garde in front of the goal.
Thomas Frank’s team lost opportunities, especially Wissa’s gold opportunity at the beginning of the second half. The bees still do not win in their last five league outings.
