Barcelona midfielder Pedri says the club must bounce back after the 1-0 defeat to Leganes at home on Sunday.
An early goal from Sergio González in the fourth minute proved decisive in Barcelona failing to win for the fifth time in their last six LaLiga games.
During this disappointing stretch, Barcelona has managed to add only five points out of a possible 18, which has allowed its lead at the top of the table to slip away.
They are now level on points with Atlético de Madrid, who they will face next weekend, and just one point ahead of Real Madrid. Both Madrid clubs still have one game less.
After the match, Pedri said: “It was a bad match, it is impossible to be happy. I think we started the game half asleep. We woke up and created chances, but we didn’t have the spark we needed to score the goal.
“We have to be better in front of goal if we want to score points. We are in a bad streak in the league and we have to turn it around.
“We have had many games in a row, but it is not an excuse. We have to finish with the same confidence that we have shown in the Champions League.

“If you don’t score goals in football, it is impossible to win.”
Barcelona dominated the match after conceding early, but were repeatedly denied by Leganés goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovic.
The Blaugrana recorded more than 20 shots, Robert Lewandowski took six of them and recorded an individual expected goals (xG) figure of 1.65.
With Hansi Flick suspended, assistant coach Marcus Sorg took charge of the bench. Yes
After the game, Sorg acknowledged that young Barcelona must adapt to the ups and downs of the season.
“In LaLiga it is very difficult and at the moment we have problems in games,” said Sorg.
“Today, especially in the first 10 minutes, we didn’t concentrate like we normally do or like we sometimes do in the Champions League.
“We conceded a goal and then the team tried everything to score. We created a lot of chances (21, five or six were really good) and that’s the problem. We have to learn from this and the players must get used to playing every three or four days.
“We are definitely not happy with the current form. But sometimes you have to accept that when it comes to forming a team there are ups and downs.”
Adding to Barcelona’s concerns, Lamine Yamal appeared to injure his ankle in the first half, but continued to play until the end of the second half.
The young star is scheduled to undergo tests on Monday to determine the severity of the injury.
