‘OK cultivation tops, no shoes’: user flags are double ratings in the office dress code, divided network leaves

A Reddit user recently discussed the clothing code in his workplace, stating that he seemed to be plagued with double ratings. The user said in his publication that in his workplace, that he supposedly does not have a clothing code, his boss told him not to wear work shoes.

In the publication entitled ‘Double Standards: OK TOPS, Slippers is not fine’, the user mentioned that his role did not imply attending meetings or any other situation that demands that one looks at formal clothes.

“I work on a digital news website where there is no official clothing code. Some company work partners use crop tops that expose the nave Comfortablely, why can’t I wear shoes, since work, since I am well?

The publication went viral and left the divided Internet users, with some users supporting the need to wear more than shoes at work. Others, however, supported the user about their right to wear comfortable footwear in their workplace.

“Go barefoot so that your supervisor requests you to wear at least shoes,” said a user in Jest.

“The shoes are dangerous during evacuations according to ISO health and safety standards. Your company guarantees your safety. This is followed in all multinational companies,” said another user.

“Friend, I understand that you feel comfortable in the shoes, but still! I am either with cultivation stops and those things, but since it is not my workplace, so they are not my rules! Follow your rule or make your own place where you follow yours! And by the way,” no clothing code “does not mean anything to use. You must stay in an outfit that says you belong,” said a user.

“Ask your boss to reason. Involve human resources if they say it is not allowed and you are sure that there is really no clothing code,” a user intervened.
