“I am young. I began to grow and this was the best option for me and I am very happy. “
Tel is one of the three new incorporations of the first team made by the Spurs in January, and there will be high expectations so that it has an immediate impact since the club seeks to change what has been a disappointing season. The Spurs have suffered a difficult race in the Premier League, ensuring only two victories in their last 12 games, which has left them sitting at the table.
However, the signs of improvement appeared with a 2-0 victory over Brentford on Sunday, and have advanced to the last 16 of the Europa League.
Tottenham will go to Anfield on Thursday with an advantage of 1-0 in the second leg of his Cup Cup Capao against Liverpool, a match that could see Tel debut in the club.
“I think I am a physical, fast, technical player,” Tel added.
“Game every moment, every game with my heart. I live with this pressure. I always have to strive to get up and look forward. “
Tel also revealed that his decision to join the Spurs was influenced by the international companions of France Sub-21 Wilson Odobert.
“I talked to Wilson, he told me you had to come here. He is my friend, I played with him in the French team, we are good friends. He told me to see, it’s a great team and you’ll see. It’s very nice.
“Football is a dream for me, playing with the first team, for the best in the world.
