Chelsea will be without striker Nicolas Jackson until the end of March due to an injury to the hamstrings, leaving them less attack options with Marc Guiu of absent backup.
Jackson suffered the problem in home victory over West Ham on February 3 and is not expected to return until after the next international break, which ends on March 25.
Guiu limited in the same game and will disappear for a “little time”, according to Chief Enzo Maresca.
The couple was not available for the AF cup of last weekend in Brighton with the extreme Christopher Nkunku used in a false role nine and that tactic could be repeated when Chelsea visits the Amex again in the league tomorrow night.

Maresca said today: “Nico is injured and will be out until the international rest. It will probably return after international rest.
“We knew I had a muscular problem, but not the important (significant) that was at that stage. His reaction was good, so we didn’t think it was a great injury.
“Unfortunately, he had a scan that has shown the injury, and will leave six to eight weeks.
“Marc Guiu will also come out for a while. He has a muscular problem, an hamstring problem too, and will come out for a while. ”
When asked if Nkunku is natural replacement, he added: “Christoph could be one of the solutions, but it is not the only solution. I believe that Christoph is a very important player. He can try to help us.
“We are trying to find different solutions, we can be Christoph or a different type of player. When you do not have nine that can be a threat, you always have to change. Pedro (Net), Noni (Madueke) or even Tyrique (George) can try to be the solution. Jadon (Sancho) maybe with different skills. “
Romeo Lavia and Benoit Badiashile are also out until the end of next month, but Captain Reece James is in shape and available for the trip to the southern coast, where Maresca will wait for Chelsea to take revenge on Saturday’s defeat 2-1.
He said: “In all games that (Brighton) try to be quite aggressive. I await a very similar game. It is fresh in your mind the way they attack and defend. You know what they do and try to do. It is probably better to face them immediately. “
Chelsea’s shape has dropped late and have won only three of their last 10 games in all competitions.
They are room in the Premier League and that in itself is a sign of progress, according to the former head of Leicester Maresca.
“Our trip in the Premier League and the league of the conference has been fantastic,” he said.
“We will try to finish in the best way we can. Do not forget in the last two years, Chelsea has not been among the first four and this season all the time among the first four. This shows all those in the right direction. This club belongs to the Champions League. “
