Manchester City’s signatures make us strong, ‘says Guardiola

The new signings of Manchester City, Vitor Reis, Abdukodir Khusanov and Omar Marmoush, are available to face Chelsea on Saturday with the Pep Guardiola manager saying ‘will make us strong’.

The disappointing season of the city took another twist in the middle of the week when after climbing 2-0 in Paris, PSG was defeated by PSG to leave its possibilities of progress of the Champions League in doubt.

However, they have been occupied in the market, signing defenders Reis and Khusanov and the front marmoush for combined rates of £ 128 million.

Confirming that everyone could appear on Saturday, Guardiola said: “Vitor is young, he has a great personality, he needs time. If you are here with us, of course you can start.

“Khusanov has already done so because he played in the French league, driving hard, fast and fast players. But he does not speak much English, so communication will be one of the situations with which we have to deal with.

“Marmoush, I think he will adapt rapidly.

“They will make us strong and I am quite sure that the club decided for these possible players during the future and many years.”

However, Ruben Dias and Jeremy Doku will be lost against Chelsea.

Dias had to be replaced in part time of the defeat of the Wednesday Champions League by Paris St-Germain.

Guardiola said that Dias has an adductor injury and that he was not sure when he would be in a position to return.

Despite the poor first of the season, Guardiola trusts the classification for the Champions League again next season.

He said: “We can do it. Why should I think differently?

“Let’s do it. I think it will happen. I am very very positive. “
