Ruben Amorim could do with a morale-boosting victory in the Czech Republic tonight when his Manchester United team take on Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League.
Amorim started brightly at Old Trafford but back-to-back defeats to Arsenal and Nottingham Forest have slowed his progress.
A 2-0 defeat at the Emirates, especially early in his tenure, can easily be excused, but the way United acted in losing 3-2 to Forest on Saturday would have alarmed Amorim.
United and Plzen go into tonight’s game with nine points from five games and just outside the automatic qualification places.
Coach Miroslav Koubek makes two changes from the team that won 2-1 in Karvina at the weekend.
Cadu replaces Milan Havel and Daniel Vasulin replaces Erik Jirka. Matej Vydra, who played for Watford, West Brom, Derby and Burnley, among many others, also starts for the hosts.

Amorim makes five changes from the team that lost to Forest.
Noussair Mazraoui, Tyrell Malacia, Casemiro, Joshua Zirkzee and Marcus Rashford came in instead of Leny Yoro, Alejandro Garnacho, Manuel Ugarte, Robbie Mainoo and Rasmus Hojlund.
The moves will also mean a role change for Amad Diallo, who has been operating as a right-back but will likely move further forward to support Zirkzee.
Rashford will be making his 75th appearance in a major European competition for Manchester United, the tenth player to reach that total for the club.
