José Mourinho enjoyed a much less stressful afternoon when his Fenerbahce team walked to a 4-1 victory in Gaziantep in the Turkish Cup.
Mourinho has been at the center of a storm since the fierce of Estanbul Derby on Monday with Galatasaray finished 0-0.
The Portuguese was accused of racism after stating that the members of the technical body of the gala were “jumping like monkeys” in an attempt to book Fener’s defender, Yusuf Akcicek.
That outraged gala that threatened the criminal procedures against Mourinho after stating that he had used “inhuman rhetoric.”
Fener responded with a strongly written statement, accusing the “pathetic slander” gala.
Even the former gala striker, Didier Drogba, has had his opinion, urging his former club to leave his case and described the 62 -year -old man as his “dad.”
With all that in the background, Mourinho would have relieved having re -matched the action today and his players certainly did their share to calm the noise around their coach.

January signing Talisca maintained its impressive beginning in life in Türkiye with two goals in the first half on each side of an effort of the Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesri.
Anel Husic withdrew one for the hosts, but the substitute for Filip Kostic culminated a good afternoon for Mourinho and his men with seven minutes to the end.
Galatasaray plays later today when they receive Konyaspor.
