jay-zThe alleged son of Rymir Satterthwaitehas revealed why he believes the rapper has avoided taking a paternity test to resolve their long-running dispute over his paternity.
The 31-year-old first approached the court about the issue in 2010 and has since filed multiple lawsuits against the Roc Nation founder, including a recent filing in which he accused the court system of fraud and rights violations in the paternity case.
Now, Rymir Satterthwaite has shared in a new interview that he believes the rapper has refused to take a paternity test this whole time because his mother was only 16 years old when they were supposedly dating.

talking to him US SunSatterthwaite, along with her godmother, Dr. Lillie Coley, revealed that before filing their lawsuits against Jay-Z, they initially attempted to resolve the paternity issue by requesting a paternity test “in private.”
However, the rapper reportedly rejected the request at the time, prompting them to seek the court’s help to compel him.
The duo have now offered a reason for Jay-Z’s denial, saying he was “scared” that confirming paternity would reveal that Satterthwaite’s mother was “a minor” at the time of their alleged relationship.
“I have to say here that he is not doing this (the paternity test) because of Rymir’s mother’s age… because he (Jay-Z) had two problems: one, she was (16 years old) and then she became pregnant.” Coley told the publication.

Adding to Coley’s comments, Rymir stated that he believes Jay-Z had “some kind of thought in his mind” that there might be “some kind of truth” to the paternity claim.
He believes this caused the rapper to “shut him off” despite having the opportunity to “deal with” the issue.

During the interview, Coley spoke about Jay-Z’s ongoing rape lawsuit, which names the rapper as one of the alleged perpetrators accused of sexually assaulting a minor.
He stated that the allegations could mark a “day of reckoning” for Jay-Z’s career and the music industry as a whole.
“And that’s why you have to be careful how you treat people and what you do, because I believe you will reap what you sow,” Coley told the outlet.
Coley also shared his belief that the latest allegations could “extend” to his case because it “shows the broader narrative, the broader scope of what’s going on, and that this is deep and broad.”

Elsewhere in the conversation, Satterthwaite expressed frustration with how the paternity claim has dragged on all these years.
“You guys have gone and dragged this out. For years and years, you haven’t given us fair due process,” the 31-year-old complained. “What was the reason? Can you explain to us? You caused us harm; did you cause us this stress?”
Satterthwaite went on to say that he is not interested in Jay-Z’s money or fame. She also expressed her willingness to form a relationship with Jay-Z if a paternity test proves their connection.
“If it was right, you know… We can grow up and have a relationship if you want to. But if you don’t, you know I’ll still be the man that I am,” he said.

Satterthwaite added: “I’m not really trying to chase you, not to get fame or money. I don’t want anything from you. I’ve always said this.”
The comments from Satterthwaite and her godmother come after they filed a lawsuit against several people within the court system.
In the lawsuit, the duo accused the named individuals of obstructing their efforts to force Jay-Z to confirm his paternity, misrepresenting his property ownership, and allegedly allowing the Roc Nation founder to make false claims.
In another part of the file they requested a “declaratory ruling” to establish that their constitutional rights were violated. They also attempted to open previously sealed court records relevant to the case for public review.
According to the daily mailThey urged the court to award damages for “negligent infliction of emotional distress,” claiming they suffered “significant personal injury” due to the protracted legal battle.

Satterthwaite said it’s “heartbreaking and frustrating” to see Jay-Z address the allegations with “deflections and attacks.”
He then intertwined the situation with his long-running effort to get the Roc Nation boss to agree to a paternity test.
Satterhwaite added: “My late mother, Wanda, was just 16 when she became pregnant with me, and for years I have sought clarity about my identity. This is not about greed or spectacle; it is about uncovering the truth and ensuring that all parties “they are accountable.”
