Israeli attacks killed at least 36 Palestinians in multiple places in Gaza on Monday, local health officials said, one day after Israel relieved help restrictions against a humanitarian crisis that worsens in the territory.
The dead included a newborn who was delivered to complex surgery after his mother, who had seven months pregnant, was killed in a strike, according to Nasser Hospital.
Israel announced on Sunday that the military would pause operations in the city of Gaza, Deir Al-Balah and Muwasi for 10 hours a day until additional is coming to allow the improved flow of help to the Palestinians in Gaza, where concern for hunger has grown and designates safe routes for the delivery of help.
