Israel continues to bomb and burn homes in northern Gaza and bomb Khan Younis in the south.
Israel continues to attack schools, medical targets and homes across the Gaza Strip, killing and wounding several people just a day after dozens of people were massacred in an attack on the Nuseirat camp.
Saturday’s raids killed four members of the Saadallah family at their home in Jabalia.
Israel also killed two people at a school northeast of Gaza City and one person taking shelter in a tent south of Khan Younis, the Palestinian news agency Wafa said.
The attacks took place just a day after Israel killed at least 36 people, most of them from the al-Sheikh Ali family in the Nuseirat refugee camp, sparking widespread condemnation.
In northern Gaza, which has been under an even tighter siege for the past two months, Israeli forces blew up buildings and burned dozens of houses in and around Beit Lahiya while shooting at the Kamal Adwan hospital, according to Wafa.
Reporting from Deir el-Balah, Al Jazeera’s Tareq Abu Azzoum mentioned that overnight attacks on the Kamal Adwan Hospital near Beit Lahiya intensified the previous day, injuring medical staff and setting an ambulance on fire.
The Israeli army, he said, was trying to take ambulances out of service.
“At the same time, they are trying to put more pressure on the medical teams who are still stuck at Kamal Adwan Hospital,” he said.
The director of the hospital’s intensive care unit was killed in a drone strike last month.
Abu Azzoum also said that Jabalia, Beit Lahiya and Beit Hanoon in the northern Strip were “under constant attack by Israeli ground forces, which (have continued) operations for more than 17 days so far.”
Israel has imposed a full siege on several neighborhoods in northern Gaza, prompting accusations that it is pushing to permanently displace Palestinians and ethnically cleanse the area.
Muhannad Hadi, United Nations humanitarian coordinator for the occupied Palestinian territory, denounced in a statement on Friday the “rapid deterioration of the humanitarian and security situation” in Gaza.
“In recent days, multiple attacks throughout the Gaza Strip have caused dozens of deaths and numerous injuries,” he said.
“Women and children continue to be among the victims. “These incidents are yet another reminder of the unbearable human cost of the conflict.”
