Fat Joe opens up about Remy Ma and Papoose’s relationship drama
Fat Joe recently appeared on the ‘My Expert Opinion’ podcast and couldn’t stop talking about the situation between Remy Ma and Papoose. He stayed honest about how he feels and let it all out during the interview.
While cutting him off on the show, the ‘Lean Back’ rapper kept the money, saying that Remy never shares her business relationship with him. But he spilled some tea: Joe said he, Rem, and Pap recently got kicked at the Brooklyn Chophouse restaurant, where Remy “brought ten grown men to dinner.” The next day, he watched the drama unfold on social media, like everyone else.
When Joe was asked how he handles the drama between his brother and sister, he directly said that it is “a difficult situation.”
“Thanks to him, she made me love him. Do you know what I’m saying? So, I really love it. That’s my goddaughter’s father. You know, I’m like… old school morals and shit. So with me it’s like, damn… I’m the godfather. These people pass away, I raise the baby. I don’t like any of this shit.”
Additionally, Joe explained that he “I can’t stop it” and “they don’t want to listen” him. Joe also stated that he doesn’t think it’s his place to come between them.
“You know, first of all, it’s a different kind of thing when you have a husband. This is different. No one will come to my house to say shit to my wife. I can’t get in the middle of that, it’s you.”
Additionally, he talked about Remy and Pap’s daughter, Reminisce Mackenzie, calling her “the best girl in the world.” He went on to say that “I wished this didn’t happen.”

Chileee! Remy Ma and Papoose went offline on Dec. 12 after going full blast, according to TSR. For over a year, fans heard rumors about cheating and splitting, but the former Hip Hop power couple never addressed anything until they released the official receipts last week. World champion boxer Claressa Shields was also dragged into the mix, with Remy calling her Pap’s alleged girlfriend. Claressa didn’t back down, but she did applaud, stating that Rem was here with “two boyfriends.”
Papoose didn’t stay quiet when the drama broke out. She accused Remy of cheating multiple times and revealed that she had been asking him for a divorce. She even posted photos of her with another man as supposed proof. But Remy fired back, denying his claims and saying he’s making things up.
