studio trigger Cyberpunk: Vanguard Runners It was a hit when it came out, and CD Projekt Red is more than aware of how much people love it. While we don’t know much about the franchise’s next anime adventure, there is at least some good news and more present for fans of the series to celebrate.
First, did you know that Edge Runners Do you have a manga? No, really, it’s called Cyberpunk Edgerunners: Madness, and it is a prequel whose first chapter appeared on Friday in “select magazines” in Japan, Poland and other territories. Written by CDPR’s comics and animation narrative director Bartorsz Sztybor and drawn by Asano, Craziness is a prequel focusing on sibling duo Rebecca and Pilar before they join the Maine team and… well, if you watched the show, you know that. At the moment, Dark Horse is handling the English version and there is currently no way to read it in that language. The full volume will arrive sometime in 2025, but you can check out its colorful cover below.

If that wasn’t enough, Edge Runners is throwing a Arcane And it’s coming to Blu-Ray next year! It is currently launching in North America and Japan, along with Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Thailand. At the moment, the Japanese release is the only one with an exact date: May 28, 2025. But in the coming months it will be revealed what said Blu-Ray includes and when it will land in other territories. Still a win though: Edge Runners joins Arcane and both castlevania series like high-profile Netflix shows graced with a physical release. That’s a big deal, especially since Netflix has recently shown that it’s willing to ditch interactive specials or shows like voltronthat are not original but were born on the platform.
