Donald Trump has suggested that the United States government should examine any subsidy delivered to Elon Musk’s commercial empire, claiming that “great money” could be saved.

In a publication about its early social platform on Tuesday, Trump said: “Elon can get more subsidy than any human being in history, with much, and, without subsidies, Elon will probably have to close the store and return to South Africa.”

The exchange deepens a crack between the two men on the bill of taxes and expenses of the president of the United States.

As the Senate advanced with a marathon voting session on the bill on Tuesday, Musk renewed his attacks against the legislation that said he would lead to “the greatest increase in debt in history.”

In a series of publications on its social media platform X, Musk also repeated his threat of forming a new political party, such as “an alternative to the Uniparty Democrato-Republican.”

The bitter public enmity, which began after Musk left the administration in May, marks a spectacular unraveling of previously narrow ties between the two that were forged as a billionaire helped finance Trump’s return to the White House.

Trump then installed Musk, who directs Tesla and Spacex, as head of the so -called government efficiency department (Doge), which is marking when he finds billion dollars of savings throughout the government.

In Tuesday’s publication, Trump said: “No more rocket launches, satellites or electric cars production, and our country would save a fortune. We might make Dege take a good, hard, look at this? Great money to be saved!”

Tesla’s actions mentioned Frankfurt fell 6 percent after Trump’s post.

Financial Times reported in February that the six Musk companies benefit from approximately $ 20 billion in government contracts, which the billionaire has previously insisted that they earned merit and have provided value for money.

Tesla has received more than $ 2.8 billion in state and federal subsidies, while Spacex has become the de facto operator of the United States space program, earning government contracts worth bills of dollars.

Responding to Trump’s suggestion that Dege analyzes government subsidies for his commercial empire, Musk published on his own social media platform X: “I’m literally saying that he cuts everything. Now.”

As his relationship collapsed last month, Musk asked Trump to be accused, suggested that his commercial tariffs would cause a recession of the United States, threatened to dismantle Spacex capsules used to transport NASA astronauts and insinuated that the president was associated with late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

But in an X publication a few days later, Musk said “he regretted” some of his attacks, which said “it was too far.”
