There was soon talk of White’s recent engagement to Milano, who, as reported here on The explosionHe popped the question in October, a year after they started dating.

White says she had no idea what her future husband had planned when he knelt in front of a supportive crowd during Howard University’s homecoming game.

Sweet moment with Wendy Williams shows White’s growth as a person

White’s continued transformation follows his decision to convert to Christianity sometime in 2022.

After her baptism, she deleted her Onlyfans account and reversed most of the plastic surgery she had had since rising to fame.

Perhaps one of the most poignant displays of White’s evolution came in the Lifetime docuseries, “Where’s Wendy Williams?”, which focused on the former talk show host as she was said to be struggling with sobriety. A statement released before its broadcast revealed that Williams had been diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia.

As seen in the docuseries, White makes a surprise visit to Williams’ apartment while visiting New York and warmly engages with her, highlighting moments of vulnerability in both women.

White discussed their connection earlier this year, which first surfaced when Williams repeatedly spoke negatively about her during her Hot Topic segments.

“(Finally) I did the show and while we were sitting on the set she said, ‘Let’s have dinner tonight,’ White recalled.

“I really wanted her to see me, so we ordered a lot of food and had a great time.”

Time heals all as she continues to rebuild with her ‘mom’, Tokyo Toni

On the one-year anniversary of her sobriety, an emotional White was stunned when her mother, Tokyo Toni, surprised her during an appearance on The Tamron Hall Show.

Previously separated, the two had reconnected long before their on-camera reunion, but White couldn’t help but be proud of how far the two had come in their relationship.

“I never thought it would get to this point,” White said through tears. “That’s what moms are for.”

Most recently, Toni, still as fiery as ever, defended her daughter when an ex alleged that White had physically assaulted him.

“I came there and beat your damn ass,” he claimed in a social media rant, “(and) I’ll beat your damn ass the same way again!”
