Belgium have named former Roma, Napoli and Marseille coach Rudi Garcia as their new manager.
The 60-year-old replaces Domenico Tedesco, who was sacked last week after a disappointing run of results, including a last-16 exit at last year’s European Championship and a Poor Nations League showing.
Thierry Henry was the early favorite for the role, but another Frenchman received the job in Garcia.

This will be his first foray into international management.
Garcia’s last job was at Serie A side Napoli, but he was sacked after just 16 games in charge in 2023.
Belgium, ranked eighth in the FIFA world rankings, face Ukraine in the Nations League play-offs in March.
Tedesco was hired in February 2023 with the aim of rebooting the Red Devils after a disappointing end to the Roberto Martínez era at the World Cup in Qatar.
