Arsenal win with Mikel Arteta, “absolutely steaming,” is confident that Arsenal win will not have to appeal the Red Myles Lewis-Skelly card in Wolves this afternoon while he thinks he will be annulled .
The full-back teenager was sent at the end of the first half in Molineux so it seemed like a rather harmless foul on Matt Doherty on the edge of the Wolves box.
The referee Michael Oliver hastened to show a straight red with varn England feeling that there was no need to send the officer to the monitor on the field side for a second look.
The wolves made Joao Gomes dismiss with 20 minutes to the end and the Arsenal took the maximum, the substitute Riccardo Calafiori shot at home the only goal four minutes later to keep the arsenal win inside the six points of the Liverpool leaders.
Arteta told Sky Sports: “It’s amazing what the boys did again. In the context in which we threw ourselves again, it was a character, team personality, courage and intelligence to play the game we wanted to play. It was exceptional. ”
In the dismissal of Lewis-Skelly, he added: “It is so clear that I leave you (the media). I am absolutely furious but I leave it with you. Because it is so obvious. I don’t think my words help him. ”

When asked if Arsenal win appealed, he said: “That is for the club to decide which is the best decision. I think it’s so obvious, maybe we don’t even need to do it. ”
The expert at the BBC Alan Shearer described the decision “one of the worst I’ve seen in a long time.”
The former captain of England said: “As a referee you can be wrong in the field, you may see something that is incorrect.
“As the hell Darren England, the VAR, thinks that the referee has done that right and there is no need to send it to the screen.
“One of the worst decisions I’ve seen in a long time.
“I just can’t see and solve what Var is thinking about Michael Oliver’s decision.
“It is not surprising that they are criticized by so many people.”
