Toshu’s doubts and Meenu’s visits
Toshu shares with Vanraj that he was already suspicious of Meenu because she frequently visited Asha Bhavan. Pakhi sarcastically comments that Meenu chose only one poor guy in the entire world. Baa hears this and gets shocked. Dimpy comes with a video of Sagar and Meenu but Titu tries to stop her. Pakhi reveals that her father has already seen the video.
When Kinjal asks what happened, Toshu tells her not to defend Meenu, implying that she is not innocent. Pakhi supports him but Kinjal insists that it could be a misunderstanding. Baa sits distraught, worried about what to say to Dolly and Sanjay. Pakhi adds that they don’t know what Meenu does when she is alone.
Vanraj’s imaginary confrontation
Vanraj sees Meenu coming and imagines telling her that freedom doesn’t suit her, accusing her of breaking his trust by visiting Asha Bhavan. He threatens to restrict her movements, saying that she will not meet Sagar or leave the house unsupervised. In her imagination, Meenu defends Sagar, saying that she loves him and that he is a good person. Vanraj then comes out of his thoughts and storms out.
Meenu’s fear in the Ashram
Meenu changes her clothes at the ashram and feels scared despite being a psychologist. Anupama consoles her and tells her that she understands how she feels. Meanwhile, Bala tends to Sagar’s wounds and asks him why he fought with so many goons. Sagar replies that it was about protecting a girl’s honour. Anupama helps Meenu sew the sleeve of her dress and urges her to change her clothes and talk to Vanraj before doing so.
Vanraj’s disappointment and Meenu’s plea
Vanraj and Toshu see Meenu leaving the ashram with others. Kinjal and Titu try to pacify Baa, who fears that Dolly and Sanjay Kumar will cut ties with them. Baa worries that taking care of someone else’s daughter will be four times harder. Kinjal warns Baa to calm down for her health, but Baa feels trapped in constant problems since her arrival.
Vanraj notices that Meenu seems upset and asks her what happened, but she assures him that everything is fine. However, she soon breaks down and tells them everything, explaining that Sagar saved her and that she came to Mami because he always remembers her in times of trouble. Vanraj decides to call Dolly and tell her that he will send Meenu back as she is not listening to him. Meenu crying begs Vanraj not to send her back and explains everything to her mother over the phone.
Anupama and Nandita’s concerns
Anupama and Nandita prepare tiffins and talk about Indra who hasn’t called or responded to their messages. Nandita mentions that they only have four tiffin orders and Anupama suggests that they try to get college canteen orders.
Vanraj’s expectations from Meenu
Vanraj stops Meenu from touching his feet, saying that she is not only his niece but also a daughter to him. Remember how he placed his feet on her forehead when she was born and received her blessings. Vanraj admits that he has no hopes for Toshu and Pakhi, but he has high expectations from her. He mentions that Toshu and Pakhi don’t listen to him, but hopes she does.
Meenu’s dilemma and Sagar’s resolution
Sagar thinks about Meenu while putting on his uniform and decides not to think about her because they are not a good couple. Vanraj warns Meenu that associating with Sagar will ruin her reputation in the society and asks her to cut ties with him. Meenu agrees to follow his wishes.
After Vanraj leaves, Toshu and Pakhi also warn him, and Baa tells him not to disgrace the family. Meenu cries and hugs Kinjal, feeling the weight of expectations and wondering why there are conditions in relationships. He expresses a deep connection with Mami and considers Sagar a good friend.
