There were several major surprise announcements during this year’s The Game Awards, but perhaps none were as unexpected as the news of a sequel to Eyes. Not only that, the original game’s director, Hideki Kamiya, is at the helm.
“Eyes is a critically acclaimed game for its unique world, moving story, and exciting adventures,” publisher Capcom said in the YouTube trailer description. “Now, a new adventure in the same vein as Eyes has already been launched.” So far, details are scarce. Production is about to begin.
