Amazon’s first batch of Internet satellites shot in orbit on Monday night, the last entry into the Mega Constellation market currently dominated by thousands of Spacex stars links.
The Atlas V Rocket of the United Lazard Alliance carried out 27 of the Kuiper Project Kuiper of Amazon, which are named after the frigids of our solar system beyond Neptune. Once the satellites will eventually reach an altitude of almost 630 kilometers.
Two trial satellites were launched in 2023, also by an Atlas V. The project officials said the main updates were made to the most recent version. The last satellites are covered with a mirror film designed to disperse sunlight reflected in an attempt to accommodate astronomers.

Founded by Jeff Bezos, who directs his own rocket company, Blue Origin, Amazon aims to put more than 3,200 of these satellites in orbit to provide a fast and affordable broadband service throughout the world.
Elon Musk Spacex has already launched more than 8,000 Starlinks since 2019. The company marked its Starlink 250 launch on Sunday night. More than 7,000 stars are still in orbit about 550 kilometers on the earth.
The Ooneweb satellite constellation based in Europe in the hundreds in an even higher orbit.
Amazon has bought dozens of United Launch Alliance and Blue Origin rocket releases for Project Kuiper, as well as others.
“There are some things that you can only learn in flight” despite the extensive tests in the field, said Rajev Badyal, vice president of the project.
“It doesn’t matter how the mission develops, this is just the beginning of our trip,” he said in a statement before takeoff at night.
