Adolescent Shooter of Colombian Presidential Hope Miguel Uribe sentenced to 7 years

A 15 -year -old who shot the Colombian presidential candidate Miguel Uribe during a June campaign event in Bogotá, which led to Uribe’s death in August, was sentenced Wednesday to seven years in youth detention, prosecutors said. The adolescent will remain in a specialized care center, deprived of liberty, during the duration.
