Following the events of “Thunderbolts*”, it seems that a crew of heroes of heroes has stabilized the ship and seems to finally send the franchise in a direction that is convincing and it is worth investing time. While this could be a minor superhero dispute to begin with, it is worth noting that the New Avengers were a real group formed in the comics in 2004, after the dissolution of the original team. Referred as “new” only in the title of the book, the team was formed by Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Wolverine, along with Spider-Woman (which was secretly a skrull), Echo (posing as Ronin), Luke Cage and, finally, the sentry. Like the film, things were heated a bit with the avengers reformed during the civil war, facing heroes and teams against each other. The fantastic four arrive at Thunderbolts*
It was always expected that Marvel’s first family appeared elsewhere before his own film, so literally flying in the sky for “Thunderbolts*” was the perfect entrance.
