Heung-min Son scored straight from the corner to win what has been an absolutely thrilling League Cup tie between Tottenham and Manchester United.
Spurs took the lead in the 15th minute after Pedro Porro’s thunderous shot was parried away by the United goalkeeper, only for Dominic Solanke to score on the rebound.
In the second half, Spurs doubled their lead almost immediately, with Dejan Kulusevkski scoring in the 46th minute.
And eight minutes later, Dominic Solanke scored a brilliant goal to triple the hosts’ lead, putting them in a comfortable position.
However, the game was not over yet. Fraser Forster made two horrendous errors in the space of 7 minutes to give Manchester United a way back into the tie. In his first mistake, Bruno Fernandes intercepted his pass and gave it to Zirzee for a simple tap-in.
And minutes later, Diallo took advantage of his bad clearance to put the ball in the back of the net and make it 3-2.
However, Tottenham captain and Manchester United target Heung-min Son intervened in the 88th minute to calm some of the home team’s nerves. The South Korean took advantage of the corner and scored directly from it to everyone’s surprise. Despite protests from the Manchester United goalkeeper, the goal stood.

Tottenham reach their first semi-final with Ange Postecoglou
Manchester United did not give up and scored another goal in the 94th minute thanks to a brilliant header from Jonny Evans after a corner kick, but Ruben Amorim’s team ran out of time for another possible comeback.
Tottenham advance to their first semi-final of the Ange Posecoglou era and will face Arsenal, Liverpool or Newcastle United.
