A family in Georgia was left heartbroken after a 15-year-old boy Amanda Silvestre He collapsed while playing volleyball. The incident reportedly occurred at the Tracey Wyatt Recreation Center in College Park, Georgia. Additionally, EMS allegedly failed to legally transport Sylvester to a hospital for medical care.

According to Carter, Sylvester was at the recreation center running alongside a teammate when surveillance footage suddenly showed her stop and place her hands on her knees. At that point, an adult apparently left the gym to get help and called 911.
Nine minutes later, an EMT vehicle is seen in the parking lot.
“Paramedics were able to stabilize the teenager, who appeared alert and was unable to speak. An ambulance was also requested to be transported by Grady EMS, through 911 and College Park Fire Rescue. “Grady EMS never responded to the call.” the city of College Park stated in a subsequent statement.
In the end, nearby passersby helped Sylvester into his mother’s truck. According to Carter, paramedics believed Sylvester was having a seizure. According to reports, by law, medical technicians are not authorized to transport patients to the hospital. According to Carter, only paramedics have that authority.

According to Carter, ambulance dispatch to Sylvester’s location remained at level zero throughout the entire ordeal. This apparently meant that calls for ambulances were numerous at the time of the incident. Therefore, there were none available for the 15-year-old’s emergency. In the end, he died in the hospital.
