Honestly, the plot doesn’t really matter because there is only a reason why someone is watching ninja assassinand that is the fight scenes. They lack the raw feel of later martial arts films like The Raid: Redemptionbut they are gory, especially a moment involving a laundromat. Raizo may be a great fighter, but he also spends much of the movie getting beaten up, which helps make his moments of triumph cooler than they would be if he were like, oh, say, Dwayne Johnson, and never lost a fight. only on screen.
A pair of martial arts icons
The rain brings ninja assassin as the heroic Raizo, and it’s clear why he was one of the biggest names in South Korean entertainment for a generation. The film is his first leading role in English, although he made his acting debut in that country a year earlier in The Wachowskis. speed runnerwhich is fitting, since the brothers signed on as producers for the ninja fighting festival. Rain had experience in a multitude of different martial arts before accepting the role, and although he didn’t do all of his own stunts, he did almost all of the fight scenes himself.
While Rain may be a famous entertainer, Lord Ozunu should also be recognizable to fans of ninja B action movies, or even Z movies, because the villain is played by Sho Kosugi, the star of Cannon’s Ninja trilogy. Films, including the incredibly bad one. Ninja III: Domination. ninja assassin was the last film the ’80s icon starred in, and he chose to focus on his multiple martial arts schools.
