As an avid fan of the comedy standing, I am disappointed to say the most recent specials of Tom Safe, 2020’s Ball and 2023 Sledgehammerdid not hit the same as his previous works, White girls with braids, Completely normal, Mainly storiesand Shameful. After having followed his career from the beginning, I, like many other safe fans, echo the same complaint: his massive success has made his comedy feel unwavering, focused on life experiences outside our salary degree. Disappointed by those failures, I approached his new series of comedy of Netflix sketches, Bad thoughtsWith watched enthusiasm, only to be pleasantly surprised.
Channeling the same uncomfortable and uncomfortable energy as Tim Robinson’s I think you should go, Bad thoughts It is refreshing because safe does not rest on tired anecdotes of your foot. On the other hand, it is completely immersed in the absurd dark comedy with a production style that only Netflix money could give this format.

Safely in its most deranged form
Bad thoughts Time is not wasted offending their sensibilities. Safe agent, six characters, ruins a murder to accidentally kill a woman and a child, she submits to stress, then runs naked while trying to talk about her angry client from the shelf, without knowing that they are seeing that the whole disaster develops in real time.
Of this introductory parody that starts the series, Bad thoughts It only continues to increase. Each episode addresses worldly issues such as jobs, success, family, love, communication and health, with titles and parodies that correspond to these issues.

Each sketch works as an independent bit, but the touches of continuity are splashed, slowly revealing that everything takes place in the same twisted universe that has been built so that its humor thrives.
For fans of I think you should leave
Although considerably more inexpressive than I think you should go with Tim Robinson, Bad thoughts It carries the same uncomfortable energy through its sketches. Where Robinson shouts coming out of sticky situations, safe looks at you until you fold. Both shows sit on different sides of the same currency, leaving you with the same feeling of illness when the envelope pushes too far.
Fortunately, like Robinson’s show, just when the tension becomes unbearable, there is a cathartic launch as the bits are worth it, leaving you stun and a little less good than before going to work.
Bad thoughts It is not for everyone, but it is a strong entry in the space of the comedy of sketches that makes me wait for sure to continue. And who knows? Now that it has been demonstrated in the writing room, perhaps its next standing special will benefit from this detour.
